| The Empowerment Zone | In
the words of the webmaster, it contains "information, ideas and
software related to ... the theme of empowerment, helping individuals and communities achieve self-actualization and full citizenship." Contains,
among other things, information about politics, government, employment,
independent living and sexuality.

| Camera Obscura | One of the
most comprehensive sites I have found for links to anything related to
blindness, blind people or vision loss, and a
place you can subscribe to any blindness-related mailing list and lots of
good organized links to interesting reading not related to blindness
while you're there. Clearly created by someone who has lost the ability
to sleep at night!

| Family Village | A good place for parents of children who have disabilities to make connections with each other and obtain valuable information. You can also visit their coffee house to find an excellent list of mailing lists, news groups, forums, etc. related to every sort of disability and health issue. |
